| Since 1982, lrvan-Smith, Inc. has provided customers with excellent service and low prices on quality tools and equipment. The Irvan-Smith story began back in 1952 when Vic Irvan began his love for racing in Salinas, California. He raced the dirt tracks all over California, won many championships and even won a Winston West Race in Santa Rosa in the 70’s. Jo Irvan, Vic’s wife, raced in many Powder Puff races and actually won a trophy before Vic ever did. Between the two of them and their son, Ernie, they have won enough trophies to fill a room or two. Racing is a family sport and Kevin Smith, Vic’s son-in-law and partner, spent his spare time at race tracks helping friends and family. After 4 years in the Air Force, Kevin worked as a millwright and also raced and won a few trophies himself. Vic and Kevin’s partnership built a business that has provided customers with an expertise based on knowledge and experience that has helped meet many fabricating and racing needs. Sadly, Vic lost his short battle with cancer in 2009. Kevin, Tracy and Jo continue to run the business the way Vic did - taking care of the customers first and everything else second. Located in Concord, NC in the heart of NASCAR country, the current Irvan-Smith, Inc. family includes: Jo Irvan, Kevin & Tracy Smith, Brian Currin, Darryl Church, Lauren Smith & Scott Smith.
